Resort Communication

VPRActivities.com – This is our primary method of communicating to our residents. You will see everything from fun activity announcements to general park announcements and even emergency information when necessary. If you are a first-time visitor to this site, don’t forget to subscribe via email in the Subscribe box on the right side of your computer screen, or the Follow icon at the bottom of your mobile device. Please explore all of the Menu Tabs when you have a chance – there is a ton of useful information like request forms, important documents like the Resort Handbook and even links to our Advisory Council and Suggestion Program

Rave Mobile Alert – This is our parkwide notification system for emergency announcements. As of late June 2023, Swift911 was discontinued and replaced with Rave Mobile Alert. Water shutoffs, power outages or other emergency-related notifications will be sent via this method. This is a comprehensive system that gives you the option of receiving a text, voice call or email – whichever you prefer. Please be advised that the text option only allows for 140 characters, so notices sent via text will be limited in content.

To sign up for this service, please register online using the following link: https://www.getrave.com/login/equityvictoriapalms and click in the “REGISTER” icon at the top of the screen. You will need to provide basic info like your name, address and cell phone number as well as your wireless carrier. Once registered, you can set up your personal preferences for notification delivery. Please note, text messaging is limited to 140 characters, so please consider using the email and voice options to get more detailed messages.

To stop receiving notifications permanently, you can simply log in and delete your account. To stop them temporarily, please text the word “STOP” to # 226787.

Facebook – This is used primarily for social purposes amongst residents and the resort, not for complaints or service requests. Event pics and fun stuff happening in the resort will be posted here. At times, a link to important information on VPRActivities.com will also be posted on the page as a reminder. 

*Please note: Our Facebook page and Messenger account is not monitored 24/7, so immediate responses should not be expected. Please direct questions, concerns and service requests to the Main Office at 956-464-7801 during business hours and report after-hours emergencies to the Gate Staff at 956-532-5832 and they will contact the proper staff. As always, if there is a life-threatening emergency, no matter what time of day, your first call should be to 911.

Mail Boxes – For resort communication, resident mailboxes are generally used to distribute information that is not necessarily time-sensitive. These may be used to communicate resort policy updates, instructions for activities and games, distribution of event tickets and other non-emergency related information. With hundreds of active boxes to fill, time-sensitive and/or emergency information is not typically put in resident mailboxes.

Other social media sites and webpages – Many resident-led Facebook pages, websites and other social media outlets related to Victoria Palms exist online. Victoria Palms Resort has no rights or responsibilities for the accuracy of content on these sites, nor are they monitored by management. Compliments, complaints and requests should be directed to the main office.
