Hello folks!
As more and more residents are returning to the resort, we just want to remind everyone the resort policies on modifying your site and/or hiring contractors. These policies are in place not only to maintain the ambiance of our beautiful resort, but also to ensure we are within compliance of all city, county and state regulations as well protecting everyone’s investment, including your own.
More detail can be found in your handbooks and leases, but here are some bullet points:
- Any site modifications, from adding a small garden, to painting your home a different color, to building an addition, require a site modification form to be completed and approval to be granted IN ADVANCE.
- All debris from construction, landscaping or DIY projects must be hauled out of the resort daily. This includes contracted tree and brush trimming. No debris is allowed to remain on your site overnight or for an extended period of time as it is a safety hazard. This includes old appliances.
- DO NOT leave your debris or trash on an empty site under any circumstances. Any resident found to be doing this will be charged a non-compliance fee for every day that they are in violation.
- All contractors should be licensed and bonded. Any damage to resort property will be the responsibility of the resident who contracted them.
- Any work such as digging, trenching, etc that can affect utilities must be completed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. This is to ensure that staff can react to any emergency situations that may arise.
