At this time, there have been some small localized power outage reported across the RGV. Please consider fueling your vehicles and preparing for possible power outages by preparing generators, fully charging phones and back-up batteries. Contact the electrical provider, AEP Texas at 877-373-4858 to report outages at your specific site. They tend to put a high priority when they see clumps of outages in an area.
Victoria Palms is serviced by 3 different electrical grids. A large scale outage may result in some or all sites without power. Please do not move sites without authorization. If/when this becomes necessary, a second announcement will made authorizing this change.
The White House, located on the corner of Donna and Plymouth St, has a back-up generator and will be available to cook warm meals if you need to do so. Other buildings may be available for temporary warmth if there are partial outages in the resort.
Please report life threatening emergencies by calling 911 first. For all other emergency situations like flooding, pipe breaks, etc please contact the gate staff at 956-532-5832. On-call staff will respond as soon as they can safely do so.
Social media like Facebook or FB Messenger is not monitored 24/7, so please do not attempt to report issues there as they may not be seen by emergency staff.
