Please join us in congratulating the following ambassadors for winning the ELS – Making a Difference Award on behalf of their respective resident groups. This is awarded to those groups whose tireless efforts benefit the resort and/or local community.
- Rita Smith – for stray cat control in the resort and efforts against animal cruelty
- Karen Whipple – for the SQS and Cancer Hats group who donate hats and other items to cancer patients in need
- Larry Riesselman – for the Computer Lab group for helping to spread education on information technology
- John and Joyce Crose – for the Padeux Social Club who donate proceeds from social events to children and other people in need in the Rio Grande Valley
Each has received $500 for their respective groups to fund future charitable efforts.
