While we understand that many of you are with very experienced with cold weather, here are just a few reminders as we face possible freezing temperatures early next week…
- For life threatening emergencies, please call 911 first, then contact the gate at 956-532-5832 to report the situation
- If there is widespread electrical outage throughout the resort, it is HIGHLY encouraged that each individual report it to AEP Texas, the local energy provider. The more outages reported in an area, the greater the likelihood of faster response. Call 877-373-4858 or report online at https://www.aeptexas.com/outages/report/
- Drip faucets to keep water from freezing in your pipes.
- Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate around your pipes
- Check your skirting for holes. This could allow cold air underneath your home resulting in frozen pipes.
