Thank you to all the sister parks that participated in the Bean Bag Baseball tournament yesterday, and thank you to Donna Luther and Millie Reeves for being our scorekeepers. Everyone had a great time! We ended up with 4 teams of seven, with the 4th team being a mix of all three resorts. They aptly named themselves, “The Misfits” and were the winners of the tournament!

Currently, there are 4 teams of 5 signed up for the Bean Bag Baseball tournament today from 3-5pm @ the ballroom–2 from Country Sunshine, 1 from Leisure World and 1 from Victoria Palms. Depending on how many actually show up, it may be necessary to mix up the fourth team with participants from all three resorts. We will sort that out at the beginning of the event. All four teams will play a round, and the winners from that round will play each other for the tournament win! 😀

These are the supplies that will be used to host the Paint N’ Sip 5/19 2-4pm @ the Craft Center, Cactus Room $25. If you’re interested in participating, sign up at the Activity Office.

Reminder: The landscaping crew will be in the park this morning. Dog parks are closed until 1pm. This will also include the dog run on Thatcher.

The north side spa was reported to be low Saturday night. It is found there is a water leak. Staff will work on issue on Monday

Friendly reminder it is a Texas law that propane tanks must remain in neutral colors (beige, light gray, silver or white). They cannot be painted any other color, Andy’s propane will not be servicing if they are any other color. Contractors that service painted tanks will be in violation of TX laws and could be asked to leave the resort.

There was an issue with the sweeper so it was unable to come in Wed. Please be advised that it will be in the park Monday April 28th through Thursday May 1st. You may put your ramps back down until Sunday evening. Please make sure they are up by Monday morning as not to cause your area to be missed.

Dog parks will closed Monday April 28th from 7:30 am to 1pm for treatment of fleas and ticks.

Apologize for any inconveniences might have caused due to this unforeseen issue.

For those VP residents who signed up, we will be having an ice cream social from 1-2pm today at the Ballroom!

REMINDER: Street sweeper will be in the resort today Wed April 23rd. As a reminder please make sure no visitors or contractors are parking in the street. Lift your steel plates and remove your rubber curb bumper. Contractors and visitors may use vacant lots for the days the sweeper will be in the resort. Streets being blocked will not be done. Please be advised that weather will play a role in sweeper coming into the resort.
