Hello all!

In addition to the resort projects mentioned previously here: https://vpractivities.com/2024/04/15/resort-project-updates/ , these are a few more projects currently underway or soon to begin:

Dead Fruit Trees: Our staff are currently cutting down the dead fruit trees in the resort, starting at the standard and pull-thru sites. They will work themselves to the value sites soon after they are completed.

Repaint Site Numbers: Our staff are currently painting the site numbers at the sites with the new resort colors of royal blue and gold. They have started at the MH/Premium sites. They will work themselves to the standard/pull thru sites after and then to value sites last. Custom painted sites will not be touched and are the responsibility of the resident to maintain/retouch. If you would like your custom site number removed and a standardized resort number painted, please contact the front office to be added to the list.

Repaint Utility Boxes: Our staff is gearing up to repaint the utility box numbers in the coming weeks.

Door Frames and Doors: We will also be retouching the common buildings’ door frames & faded doors in the coming weeks.

Hello, everyone! Now that the off season is here, it’s time for us to begin our Spring/summer projects. Here’s an update on ongoing and upcoming projects:

Trash Enclosures: The 2nd of 3 phases has been completed. We are awaiting the dumpsters to be custom built and installed. Once these are available for use, the restaurant compactor will be off-limits to resort customers. The final phase will be the reorganizing of the current enclosed dump area by the Craft Center. This will become a drive-through area for residents to dump household trash, recycling and larger items. The recycling containers will moved out of the Craft Center parking lot and into this area once the ground work has been completed.

Dog park: A dog park/bbq area is currently in process in the rear area of the current dump area. More info to come on this as we come closer to completion.

Dog Wash Station: We have purchased and received a new dog wash station. This will be available as soon as it is installed. We will announce availability soon.

Shuffleboard Courts: The shuffle courts will be resurfaced and awnings will be added. This project will be done in 2 phases, beginning with the resurface work. This work will begin Tuesday 4/16/24 and continue until both phases are completed.

Bocce Courts: The Bocce courts will be relocated and expanded. They will be moved to the east side of the resort adjacent to the large dog park and the petanque courts. This project will begin in the upcoming months – more updates to come.

We are excited and proud to bring new and updated amenities to the resort and can’t wait to make them available for your enjoyment!

The concession stand will not be open for tomorrow’s dance due to an unforeseen staff shortage. Ice and cups will be provided!

Melvin Ellis has requested that the time for the Sip N’ Dip scheduled on 4/27 be changed to 3-5pm due to scheduling conflicts with other band members.

The 2024 summer activity calendar has been updated and printed according to the room reservation forms submitted. If you are a leader of an activity and you don’t see your activity listed or the information regarding it is incorrect, please let the activity dept. know so it can be corrected.

• Main Office: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Closed on Saturdays.
• Activity Office: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Closed on Saturdays.
• Mailroom Window: Monday to Friday, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM.
  • Closed on Saturdays.
