Parking Reminder
Please do not park in spaces that are not designated specifically for parking. This is against resort policy and the resort reserves the right to tow away vehicles at the owner’s expense. This is discussed every season and as recently as the January Manager Meeting: See summary of that meeting here: https://vpractivities.com/2024/01/25/january-manager-meeting-summary/
This is particularly dangerous in the example pic attached.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for making Victoria Palms a safe experience for everyone.
Dog Sitter Needed!
A resident is looking for a dog sitter for her 6yr old Golden Retriever and 2yr old Brittany. They are both inside dogs. She would like to go to Mexico tomorrow from 10am to 5pm. If anyone can be of help, call Jeanne @ 952-807-8275.
Ladies Night Out 2/7/24 7-10pm $10
The Chrome Wheels 2/2/24 7-10pm $8 @ the ballroom
Red Fish Recycling Containers
Once again, another reminder about the Red Fish recycling containers…
Please do not put regular household trash in or around the Red Fish recycling bins.
Please do not allow your contractors to put construction materials in or around the Red Fish recycling Bins.
It is against our written policy. Doing so has resulted in the driver removing trash and leaving it on the ground (looks bad and unsafe) or refusal of pickup altogether.
If these violations continue we will be forced to suspend recycling at VP. Please help us to keep to keep Victoria Palms beautiful.
A clear diagram about what can and cannot be put in the bins is posted on the bins themselves. Please see photos below for more info…

Dance Fit Update!
Activity News Update!
There is some confusion regarding the cancellation of activities 2/28/24. Per the post, activities lead by activity leaders are canceled or have been relocated for that day. A dance is not an activity lead by a resident. Vinyl Spin scheduled 2/28/24 from 7-10pm is not canceled and will be performing as planned! 🤗 Thank you!
Spanish Class News!
Paint N’ Sip News!
Ballroom Activity News Update!
Jams will not be affected by the Feb. 1st Wine Tasting Event. It is not cancelled.

Ballroom Activity News!
The ballroom activities are cancelled for Feb. 1st, (except Jams) the 6th, 7th and the 28th. Darts will relocate to the Texas Room the 7th and 28th, and the dance on the 28th will also take place. This is in lieu of the wine tasting event, a hotel catering event, Ladies Night Out and the Ambassador Luncheon. If any ballroom activity leader would like to try to relocate their activity for those days, come visit the activity office. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you!

There is no longer yoga on Sunday. The activity and public calendars are updated every week with any changes that have taken place. Please be sure to check the date on your calendar and to pick up a new one, as changes to the schedule do occur.
Tai Chi Update
Bob Lisk will not be able to attend the Tai Chi Class this week to give instruction. Bob says you are welcome to use the space and practice on your own. He encourages you to try doing what you remember.
January Manager Meeting Summary
Thank you to all who attended and to those who submitted questions in advance. For those who were unable to attend, here is the presentation as it was discussed.
All in all it was a great meeting with lots of information!
South Gate Update
Please be advised… we are currently waiting on a certified technician to asses the issue with the south gate. Resort staff has attempted to diagnose the issue, but has exhausted all troubleshooting options. We expect a technician visit over the weekend.
Please continue to use the northgate until we have this issue resolved.
Thank you.
