Possible freezing temps next week

While we understand that many of you are with very experienced with cold weather, here are just a few reminders as we face possible freezing temperatures early next week…

  • For life threatening emergencies, please call 911 first, then contact the gate at 956-532-5832 to report the situation
  • If there is widespread electrical outage throughout the resort, it is HIGHLY encouraged that each individual report it to AEP Texas, the local energy provider. The more outages reported in an area, the greater the likelihood of faster response. Call 877-373-4858 or report online at https://www.aeptexas.com/outages/report/
  • Drip faucets to keep water from freezing in your pipes.
  • Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate around your pipes
  • Check your skirting for holes. This could allow cold air underneath your home resulting in frozen pipes.

We hope that this helps in preparation for next week….Stay safe and stay warm!

Reminder: Items on the grass

Hello to all on this beautiful day!

We would like to take a moment to remind everyone that is on a RV site and any other sites that the resort is responsible for mowing. It is resort policy that personal items like pop up tents, throw rugs, accent lighting, awning anchors, car dollies etc are NOT ALLOWED in the grass areas. Everything must be placed on the concrete of your site.

This is due to the fact that the mowers must have a clear path to mow and weed-eat the sites. Items like rugs and awning extensions can kill grass located under them. The resort, and it’s contractors, will NOT be responsible to damage caused to these items due to violation of this rule…in addition, you may run the risk that the mower refuses to cut your site.  If this occurs, and in keeping with our policies, the resort reserves the right to ask you to remove these items permanently.

Thank you.

Pet Reminder

Hello on this beautiful day!

Friendly reminder that it is resort policy that all pets must be on leashes at all times except while in the dog parks. While we know that there are plenty of well-behaved pets in the resort, leashes are still required.

Pets are also not allowed to be walked on the boulevard or any home sites, occupied or not. There are designated dog parks and dog walk areas specifically for this purpose listed on the resort map. Pet parents are required to pick up after their pets.

Thank you for being a considerate pet owner and following all pet rules and regulations.

Spectrum Notice

Hello and Happy New Year to all!

It has come to our attention that some of our residents have been notified by Spectrum (by letter and/or by customer service agents) that our contract is expiring. This is erroneous, as we have only just begun our contract.

Please disregard any communications to this effect. We have alerted Spectrum about this error and they will be alerting their agents.

We are happy to have provided this upgraded service to our residents and we thank those of you who have let us know how much you are enjoying the service.

Thank you.
