Victoria Palms “Ladies Night Out” Tickets Are On Sale Now!
This season’s theme is Barbie! Come decked out in your finest pink!
Note* “Ladies Night Out” is open to VP women and women of sister parks only. It’s not open to the public, that’s why it isn’t on the public events calendar.
Friendly Reminder: The streets in Victoria Pams are multi-use. Many of your friends and neighbors walk or bike throughout the resort.
Please be considerate of everyone’s safety and monitor your speed while driving in the resort. This goes for your contractors too, so please remind them while they are working in the resort.
The speed limits are 10 mph or 15 mph, depending on area and street. Signs are posted and painted on the streets. Remember, only you can prevent speed bumps!
A debit card was turned in to the activity office. It was found in the coin slot of the large laundry room. Identification will be required to authenticate ownership.
A floating device was turned in to the Activity Office. It was found on Oxford Street. A description of the float will be required to authenticate ownership.
On Friday, we held a Meet and Greet with the City of Donna Mayor Rick Morales. We had a very good Q&A session where Mayor Morales spoke of his support for Victoria Palms in the past (night club) and how he intends to help us in the future. Some of the items discussed included:
The lowering of city taxes in 2024
The increased amount of homestead exemption in 2024
Management request to help with speeders on Victoria Rd
New retailers that have come to Donna and those that are coming in 2024
Water quality
Drainage issues
We also had a chance to speak to Jose Segura, a Vietnam combat veteran and candidate for City Commissioner place 3, who was able to express his support for our community.
If you are eligible to vote, please consider doing so. Every vote counts and the Mayor needs your support. Early voting begins today from 7am to 7pm at :
Hey folks! Just a reminder as many of our residents begin returning to the resort…
Any modifications to the site, including work done on your home, need to be reported and approved. It is crucial that we know what work is being done and by whom (even if it is DIY)
Please be sure to turn in your site modifications forms BEFORE work begins.
Once again another reminder about the Red Fish recycling containers…
Please do not put regular household trash in the RedFish recycling bins. It is against our written policy. Doing so has resulted in the driver removing trash and leaving it on the ground (looks bad and unsafe) or refusal of pickup altogether. If these violations continue we will be forced to suspend recycling at VP. Please help us to keep to keep Victoria Palms beautiful.
A clear diagram about what can and cannot be put in the bins is posted on the bins themselves. Please see photos below for more info…
Prohibited Items in bins…
Previous notices are available in the links below:
Please be advised, a dumpster has been placed near the pool area. This is for the use of the contractor only and is not intended for household garbage or contractor refuse. Please do not use it as such.
As was previously announced, we will be undergoing a pool resurfacing renovation beginning today and last approximately 4-6 weeks. During this time, the resort pool area will be closed while the work is being completed. Please do not enter the fenced pool area while this renovation is underway.
We have secured two alternatives for those who wish to enjoy pool activities while this project is taking place…
Option 1: Our sister property, Alamo Palms, has been gracious enough to offer their newly-renovated pool facilities for our use. They are located just a couple exits down the highway at 1341 W Business 83 in Alamo. Please be sure to notify them that you are a resident of VP while you are there. We ask that you please observe all posted rules and policies while using their facilities.
Option 2: Hotel management has been gracious enough to offer the newly-renovated hotel pool as another option. Please note that their hours are slightly different than ours and, being an all-age pool, have slightly different rules as well. We ask that you observe their rules as posted.
We hope you enjoy the finished product of this renovation and we look forward to a fantastic season at Victoria Palms!
