Brush/Driveway ramp reminder

Hello and good day everyone!

Just a friendly reminder as we have begun our rainy season…

Please do not place your brush for pickup on the street. This is against resort policy and clogs up the storm drains. Please be considerate of your friends and neighbors and help us avoid flooding by putting your brush on the edge of the your own curb or driveway. Also, please keep in mind that brush is only picked up on Mondays during the off season, along with trash.

For those who have driveway ramps, please make sure the area directly underneath is free and clear of any obstructions. This will help avoid any pooling of water in front of your site and assist in the proper flow of drainage. If you are gone for the off season these should have been raised prior to your departure, as per policy.

Thank you!

Pool update

Thank you for your patience during this pool closure. Today, a licensed technician will be reviewing our chemical balancing to ensure compliance and water quality.

We expect to reopen in the next 24-48 hours. Please do not enter the pool until the reopening announcement has been issued.

Thank you.

Notice regarding Contractors

Just a friendly reminder…

Please do not allow contractors to utilize your utilities as this will incur additional charges to you. If anyone approaches you and asks to use your utilities (water/electric) please send them to the office for guidance.

Thank you.

Cable/Internet issues

Please be advised, we are currently addressing two separate issues with the cable/internet system…

Issue 1: We have lost signal to multiple digital OTA (over the air) channels, affecting the resort as a whole. Due to the recent storms we believe we have incurred damage to our digital antennas. We are working to confirm this so that we can move forward with a solution.

Issue 2: Some customers in the MH section (and immediately adjacent) have partial and/or complete loss of cable/internet. We believe this is due to the construction projects in the area and are working with the crews to repair this as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve these issues.

Upcoming pool closure

Please be advised, due to resident concern and out of an abundance of caution, the resort pools and spas will be shut down and water will be drained, refilled and re-balanced. This will begin Tuesday May 9th and the pool will remain closed until further notice. A technician will professionally balance the chemicals prior to reopening.

Thank you for your patience.

Storm cleanup

Good morning folks!

We wanted to take a moment to recognize all the wonderful residents who have worked so tirelessly to clean up their lots after the recent storm. Others have also helped their friends and neighbors with their lots, especially those who are not in the resort currently. It is because of residents like these that we have such a wonderful and inviting place to live. Thank you!

Thank you also to the staff who are working to continue the cleanup, of which there is still much to be done. As you may have noticed, storm damage repairs have already begun and will continue until all are completed.

Storm recap

After an unexpectedly strong storm last night, it seems as though the we made it through with minimal impact. Some residents experienced a temporary power outage. There was heavy rain and wind gusts up to 85mph. Please consider checking on your homes for any possible damage.

If you venture outside of the resort today, please note that there is severe damage to the west of the resort in the Pharr/McAllen/Mission area. Most of this area is still without power and there is much damage including downed power lines, collapsed gas station canopies and other dangerous conditions.

Spectrum update 4.14.23

New cable/internet lines have begun to be installed in the Resort! Here are a few pics of the equipment and installation of the main distribution lines.

Thay are currently in the area directly south of the main office and will be working their way east and north throughout the Value Section on both sides of the boulevard.

We understand curiosity and the urge to know what is going on but, FOR YOUR SAFETY, we ask that you please do not approach workers and keep a safe distance from the work areas.
