RV Lease FAQ’s

We have gotten a number of questions about the RV leases that were recently sent out. Here are a few answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:

Q: Why did I get a new lease but not my friend down the street?

A: New leases were only sent to annual residents in the RV section of the resort

Q: Why did only the RV customers get a new lease?

A: New leases were created to meet compliance requirements by the state and how dwellings are classified.

Q: In Section 1, why does my new lease define my park model as maximum 400 sq feet?

A: Park Models are defined as such by the State of Texas based on their original title, thus our documentation has to define them in the same way. This does not affect Park Models with add-ons such as Texas Rooms, decks, etc that are already in the resort. As stated in the policy handbook, future add-ons simply need management approval via Site Modification form. This is also stated in the last few sentences of Section 1 of the new lease.

We hope this answers questions for many, but if you would still like further information, please feel free to give a call to the main office. Anyone who wishes to also speak to management directly is welcome to schedule an appointment for further clarification – we will be happy to answer whatever we can.

Site Modification Reminders

As many of our friends and neighbors are coming back to the resort for the season, and new home owners are moving in, we want to point you in the direction of our rules and policies for site modification. Please take note of a few updates and refreshed wording that have been made to both the form and the procedure. Click the link to see more: https://vpractivities.com/site-modification/

Thank you for helping to keep Victoria Palms beautiful!

Recycling reminder!

Please do not put regular household trash in the RedFish recycling bins. It is against our written policy. Doing so has resulted in the driver removing trash and leaving it on the ground (looks bad and unsafe) or refusal of pickup altogether. If these violations continue we will be forced to suspend recycling at VP. Please help us to keep to keep Victoria Palms beautiful.

A clear diagram about what can and cannot be put in the bins is posted on the bins themselves. Please see photos below for more info…

Resort Gate Status

Hello everyone! Please be advised as we move into season the main gates (entry and exit) will be closing at 6pm to maintain security and help control traffic. Also, we appreciated your patience while we awaited parts to repair it. It is now functioning properly.

Please also be advised that the north gate (by the hotel and ballroom) is currently out of service while we await a rail to be replaced. Operating it with a bad rail would be dangerous, therefore it will remain out of service until it is repaired.

The south gate (by the small laundry) is functioning normally.

Thank you.

We are going green! LED lighting project starts today!

Good morning all!

Later today, we will being a project to replace existing light fixtures. A contractor has been hired to replace them with new, energy efficient lighting. This project will take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete and will be focused on the public spaces, both interior and exterior.

In most cases it will be a simple change of light bulb. In some cases, whole fixtures will be replaced. Please exercise caution in areas where lighting is being replaced.
