Please be advised, the ice machine at the water mill is currently out of service for cleaning. It will return to service tomorrow morning (Saturday).

The annual palm tree trimming has officially commenced. This was originally intended to start last week, however it was delayed due to the threat of bad weather. Please proceed with caution around the work areas as they move throughout the resort. This work typically takes two to three weeks, depending on weather delays.

Dear Victoria Palms Residents,

There has been an understandable misconception regarding the karaoke pool party tonight. Normally, karaoke is open to the public, but accommodations were made so that it could be hosted at the pool. The karaoke pool party is for residents only, and is not open to the public. (All residents invited!) Non-resident are allowed by a resident’s invitation only.

Friendly reminder that all resort offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the July 4th Independence Day holiday. This includes the mailroom window as USPS mail will not be delivered that day.

All offices will return to normal hours on Tuesday, July 5th.

Monday trash/brush pickup will also be moved to Tuesday, July 5th. Please do not set out your trash on Monday morning.

Please also note that for all life-threatening emergencies, please dial 911. For all other resort emergencies, please contact the gate staff at 956-532-5832. We wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day holiday!

Please be advised the USPS has only just now delivered mail and packages today. This will affect sorting and availability of your mail and packages. Every effort will be made to have all packages sorted and ready as soon as possible… Please be patient with mail staff as we sort through all that was delivered.

Hello and good day everyone!

Just a friendly reminder as we go into our rainy season…

Please do not place your brush for pickup on the street. This is against resort policy and clogs up the storm drains. Please be considerate of your friends and neighbors and help us avoid flooding by putting your brush on the edge of the your own curb or driveway. Also, please keep in mind that brush is only picked up on Mondays during the off season, along with trash.

For those who have driveway ramps, please make sure the area directly underneath is free and clear of any obstructions. This will help avoid any pooling of water in front of your site and assist in the proper flow of drainage.

Renovation continues in the Activity Building and the flooring in the Billiard Room and Activity offices has commenced. In the Main Office, a flooring refresh and touch-up painting is also underway.

More beautification projects will continue through the remainder of the off-season!

Please be advised of the following changes to our recycling procedures:

• Due to safety concerns, the cardboard, aluminum can and styrofoam recycling area by the restaurant will no longer be available to residents. Please place cardboard and aluminum cans for recycling in the RedFish containers located in the Craft Center parking lot. All cardboard should be flattened prior to placement in the containers.
• Due to continued issues with recycling vendors and processing, glass and styrofoam recycling are no longer available in the resort. Please dispose of your glass and styrofoam with your normal household trash.

It’s that time of year again! Our annual palm tree trimming project begins in the resort on Monday, June 27. This typically takes about 3 weeks to complete, barring any weather delays during the course of the project. Please be cautious when out and about and keep an eye out for falling palm tree bark.

The flooring projects in both the Main Office and the Activity Center continue. The Main Office will continue to be closed through the remainder of this week, however limited office services are still available in the Mail Room during this time.
