On-site Covid testing update

As many of you may know, we have arranged for on-site Covid testing, vaccinations and booster shots in the Large Card room every Tuesday from 9am to 2pm. Based on your feedback, we have spoken to the pharmacist and they will be expediting the turnaround time for results by emailing you directly. Vaccines and Booster shots are immediately available during their visits.

Propane Service

For those who have reported delivery issues with Andy’s propane, we have scheduled another vendor to stop by the resort tomorrow. Please call them to schedule a refill at your site. Here is their info:

Atkinson Propane – 956-546-7774

For clarity, Andy’s is still our preferred vendor, however residents are free to choose whichever vendor they desire.

Internet Update – Action Required

As was discussed in last weeks Town Hall Meeting, our contractor along with our onsite tech have been working on rebuilding all of the modem profiles for the resort to effectively integrate with the new circuit that was installed. Some testing and tweaking occurred over the weekend and we are happy to announce that the new settings are ready for update on your individual modems. Our testing has shown significant improvement in internet speeds.

Please do the following:

  • Locate your modem (this is the piece of equipment in your home that connects directly to the coaxial cable from outside your home or rig)
  • Reboot your modem by powering it down (best practice is to simply unplug it from your power source)
  • Wait approximately 60 seconds
  • Power your modem back up (by plugging it back in) and wait for all lights on the machine to illuminate once again. The time for this may vary by machine but usually within 90* seconds) *time edit based on customer feedback
  • If you have a combo modem/router, please reboot using the same process described above.
  • If you have a seperate router (the machine that connects to the modem), it is not necessary to reboot the router as well.

If you continue to have issues after this process, please contact SkyWeb at 844-641-9011. Please give them your name, site number call back number.

Thank you.

Notice regarding package delivery via third parties

We have recently had some difficulties with third party package delivery companies such as UPS and Amazon. It seems that they are attempting to deliver packages to the mailroom instead of delivering them directly to the sites. THIS IS NOT CORRECT OR SECURE AND WE HAVE NOT AUTHORIZED THIS. Drivers are given property maps when they arrive to the resort. In the event that a driver cannot determine the site number they are to come to the office so we can look up the name in our system.

HOWEVER, this is not the case as of late. We have found that the packages are clearly marked with the site numbers. The drivers are simply not willing to go to the sites to deliver in many cases. We have attempted to contact the local delivery offices that manage these drivers but they do not return our calls since we are not the addressee on the packages and dont have the tracking numbers.

If your package is not being delivered or has been delivered to the mailroom instead of directly to your site, please contact the shipper to inform them of this. Again, this is for third party delivery companies such as Amazon, Fedex and UPS.

Amazon – report via the website

Fedex Warehouse McAllen- 956-630-0100

UPS Customer Center McAllen – 800-742-5877

Reminder: Doggie Do’s and Don’ts

Just a few friendly reminders:

All pets should be leashed when out and about – Dogs are allowed off leash only when in the resort dog parks.

Pets may not be penned or tied up outdoors unsupervised. As of Jan 18th, 2022 it is now illegal in the State of Texas to chain up your dog outdoors.

Do not allow your pet to do their business on other residents or on empty lots.

These are just a few reminders of our pet policies. Further info can be found on pages 45-47 of the most recent Resort handbook.
