We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Manager’s Meeting on Thursday Jan 20th in the Ballroom from 9am – 10:30am. As we have done in the past, we will have presentations in the beginning of the meeting.

We want to get the most out of this meeting , so management will create a presentation in advance based on your questions. Questions that are similar in nature will be consolidated and addressed in the presentation. A brief question and answer session will follow for any issues not addressed in the presentation.

Please email your questions to victoriapalms_mgr@equitylifestyle.com no later than Sunday Jan 16th so that they can be addressed. Thank you.

Friendly reminder, all Resort offices will be closed on Monday January 17th for the Martin Luther King Jr holiday. The Mail Center window will also be closed, as no USPS mail will be delivered that day.

Trash/brush pickup will be moved to Tuesday Jan 18th and all offices will return to posted hours on that day as well. Thank you.

Please enter the ballroom through the main entrance – the poolside doors will not be available for entry.

Our serving times are 11am and 1pm – please be sure to come at the time that you signed up for and present your ticket. Food was prepared based on number of tickets issued.

Doors will open promptly at 11am and 1pm to allow proper time for setup and turnover between servings.

The City of Donna has informed us that due to COVID exposure, the meeting this afternoon would be moved to the Donna Rec Center located at 307 S. Miller Avenue.  They also requested that, if possible, attendance be limited in order to reduce any potential exposure.  Park management and our local attorney will be in attendance to object to the rezoning.

To all residents of Victoria Palms Resort:

As many of you may already last month were able to successfully fight the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit and Late Night License to the night club at the southeast corner of the Resort on the basis of improper zoning. As we expected, the owners are now trying to get it rezoned so that they can reapply for those licenses.

There is a meeting at City Hall Monday Jan 10th (Planning and Zoning Committee) and possibly Tuesday (City Council) where the public can voice their concerns regarding the proposed zoning change. The meetings will be held at 5:30 pm (please be there at least 10 mins before) at Donna City Hall, located at 307 S 12th St here in Donna. We are asking any and all residents who can be in attendance for both meetings to please show up. The agenda item in question is:

Zone Change requested by Shahzado Waqar d/b/a Glaze Bar and Grill from Single Family Residential (R1) to General Business (B2) for property located at 3708 E Business 83 DONNA, TX

In addition to this, we ask that residents call and email their concerns as well. Please see the info below for the appropriate places to phone and email your concerns.

As you may know, we recently had a larger internet circuit installed in the resort. Now that we have this vital part of the distribution plant in place, we will be doing a large piece of data conversion on Friday night, Jan 7th at 9pm. If all goes well, and there are no complications, you will likely only experience intermittent disruptions of internet service that night while the conversion is taking place. TV service is not expected to be disrupted.

As we do every year, we will be hosting our Welcome Back Luncheon in the ballroom next Wednesday Jan 12th. In preparation for this, we will begin decorating on Tuesday Jan 11th. We had such a positive response regarding the decoration for New Years that we will be doing so again for our Welcome Back event!

Thus, the ballroom will be unavailable for resident activities all day Tuesday and Wednesday (Jan 11th and 12th) for decoration, the event and the tear down and cleaning. All resident activities in the ballroom will resume their normal schedules on Thursday Jan 13th.
