Pine Tree Update #2

Please be advised, a work crew will begin tomorrow, April 21st, cutting down the pine trees in the Resort and Hotel. The crew will begin on the north end of the property and work their way south. The pines will be cut down to the stump and hauled away. Please assist us in keeping the resort beautiful by bagging any leftover pine needles on your lot and leave them on the curb for the usual Monday pickups.

This project may take up to two weeks, depending on weather and accessibility. Please be cautious around areas where the crew is working. If you have any questions about this project, please feel free to email me at victoriapalms_mgr@equitylifestyle.com

Thank you for your patience while we work to complete this important project.

Pine Tree update 4.19.21

Thank you to the residents who reached out to management regarding the health of the pine trees in the resort. We have taken your feedback under serious consideration and will be working with a contractor to remove all pines in the resort. We expect to begin this work within the next 7-10 days and will send out more updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience while we have worked to evaluate the condition of all landscape affected by the freeze.

Fitness Center Reminder

Happy Friday Residents:

Just a friendly reminder that certain machines in the fitness center have been closed since we opened this venue to ensure we maintain social distancing guidelines. If there is a certain machine you require during this time please let the office know and we can see how we can accommodate this request.

In the continued interest of the health of our guests and employees we continue to follow the recommendations of the CDC regarding COVID-19. Your safety is priority one for us.

This week it was reported that some of these closed machines have been tampered with and/or reconnected in an attempt to use them. We ask that you please do not remove caution tape and/or tamper with any equipment that’s is sectioned off as it may present a safety hazard for you as well as others attempting to utilize these machines.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in following these guidelines as they will help us keep the resort amenities open for all to continue to enjoy.

TV/Internet repair work this afternoon 4.14.21

Please be advised, a Skyweb tech will be back in the resort this afternoon to complete repairs to a portion of the cable/internet system that was previously damaged. The work will begin at approximately 1pm. At that time, residents west of VP Dr and north of VP Blvd can expect TV and Internet outages that should last no longer than an hour.

Mail Delivery delayed 4.12.21

The USPS has not delivered mail yet today. Please be advised that this will affect mail distribution to your boxes. Resort Management has reached out directly to the Donna Post Office to ask what is the reason for the recent delays. The Postmasters response is that they are understaffed and are working to get the newly-vacated position replaced. They hope to fill this position as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience while we await their delivery.

Brush pickup update 4.12.21

Good morning all!

If you didn’t have a chance to have your dead brush picked up, no worries! The contractor will be back again this Friday Apr. 16th! As mentioned previously, please make sure to have your brush piled on the curb and not in the gutters and curb drains to minimize any possible interference of drain flow.

Once again, thank you to everyone for doing their part in keeping this a beautiful place to live!

Dead brush pickup

Good morning all!

Thank you for your patience while we have taken some time to monitor the landscaping within the resort. Much of what we thought was dead has shown new growth and we are very happy to see that not all was lost to the freeze. Our staff has been working to keep up with all of the dead brush produced by the freeze, but it has proven to be quite a task. One of our staff members (along with some wonderful residents) has already done many projects in the smaller accent areas and remaining maintenance staff has begun working on larger bushes and hedges as well. There is still much to be done.

To help with this monumental task, we have scheduled a dedicated brush pickup this Friday April 9th AND Friday, April 16th. A contractor will be driving the resort and collecting dead brush at all the sites. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to maintain their sites by trimming and cutting dead foliage.

On a related note, rainy season is almost upon us. Please make sure that your loose brush does not overflow into the curb drains, as this affects the flow of drainage in the form of backups, pooling and slower movement of rainwater.

Thank you all for doing your part to keep the resort beautiful!
