It’s that time of year again! Our annual palm tree trimming project begins in the resort onMonday, July 1. This typically takes about 3 weeks to complete, barring any weather delays during the course of the project. Please be cautious when out and about and keep an eye out for falling palm tree bark.
Thank you for your patience while we continue to beautify our wonderful resort.

Good morning!
Please be advised that the pedestrian gates have been repaired and ready for use starting Monday, July 1. These are wide enough for a standard size golf cart to pass through, however please note that these are not self-closing gates. Please proceed with caution when passing through.
The pin code is the same one as listed for the main entrance gate and is available on the latest access code information sheet. Residents may contact the front office for this information. Please DO NOT share this information with non-residents or on social media. More info here: https://vpractivities.com/2022/08/12/gate-policy-and-unauthorized-visitors/
We also ask that you please do not prop, tie or impede the gates from closing as this is a violation of resort security policies listed in your leases and handbooks.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve the quality of your experience here at Victoria Palms!
Water will be shut off today for repairs, from 10 am to 12 noon, affecting the entire resort. Thank you for your patience while this repair is completed.

Double Decker will be performing at the July 4th potluck from 12-2pm at the ballroom. 🤗
Currently, the internet and phones are down at the main office, mail room and activity building. If you have questions or concerns, please come in person as we aren’t not able to communicate via phone.
The activity lobby is particularly without power. The internet might be affected as well.
Double Decker has expressed concerns about the current weather conditions and has requested to postpone until next week or a later date. The happy hour for today has been cancelled.
Thank you.
Sandbags are being place at all the Recreational Hall outside doors except the front ones under the awning. So, the lobby doors near the pool and all outside doors leading from the activity rooms-exercise, billiards, cards hallway-will be locked and boarded with sand bags until Thursday when the main office reopens.
Thank you.
The offices will be closed Wednesday June 19th in celebration of Junetenth Day!

Changes to the Main Entrance Gate:
Starting on July 1, 2024, changes will be made at the main entrance gate. The third shift from 10:00pm to 6:00am will no longer have a gate attendant. Gate remotes and gate codes will need to be in use between those hours. If you have an emergency, please call 911. For any resort issues please call (956) 532-1257.
Maintenance will be cutting down a dead tree on lot 137. VP residents, please take an alternative route to avoid this area until noon today for safety precautions.
Thank you.
