The pool will be closing Thursday afternoon to begin the resurfacing renovations and VP thought it would be a fun idea to host a doggie dip before the closure! 😀 If you’re interested in participating, come by the activity office and sign up.

Hello all!

We have received questions in regarding ownership of the hotel, ballroom activities etc. and want to take a moment to clarify these questions.

The hotel, as well as all of the outlets (meeting rooms, ballroom, restaurant, etc.), remain the property of ELS. We have put a lot of work into improving the facilities for the enjoyment of the residents and expect to complete even more improvements in 2024.

We look forward to seeing you this season and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed facilities!

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to support the cause, I would like to invite everyone at Victoria Palms to wear some form of pink each Friday of the month, whether it’s a shirt, socks, nail polish (ladies, a good excuse to get your nails done! ) or a ribbon.

As was mentioned in the previous project update post, we were awaiting approval for one final large-scale renovation project for 2023 before making the announcement. We are proud to announce that we have received approval and funding for our resort pool and spas to be resurfaced!

This has been a project often requested by residents and we are happy to make it happen! An underground leak in one of the spas will be repaired and both the pool and the two spas will be resurfaced!

We are working on the final contract terms and will begin this work as soon as possible. We will announce the beginning of this project as soon as we have a confirmed start date, most likely within the next week or two. This project is expected to last 4-5 weeks and you can expect the pool area to be closed during this time, however we will work with the contractor to expedite this timeframe.

Due to necessary repairs in the ballroom, the Happy Hour with “About Time” scheduled Sept. 27th has been rescheduled to November 22nd. There is also a tentative Happy Hour date on October 14th. If the ballroom repairs are still ongoing by that time, Activities will post an update regarding Oct. 14th, as well.

We have recently received reports of walkers & cyclists being chased/pursued by unleashed pets. Regardless of how well trained they may be, sometimes our fur-babies can get away from us. Please abide by resort policy and keep all pets on a leash outdoors.

A pair of men’s work glasses were turned in to the activities office. They were found at the men’s restroom next to the large laundry room. A description of the item will be required to ensure ownership. Thanks!

Due to unforeseen necessary ballroom repairs, the Ron Moshier dance, scheduled Sept. 19th, has been rescheduled for December 12th, same time and place 7-10pm @ the ballroom, $10 tickets.

Note* There’s a Ron Moshier dance scheduled Oct. 17th and Nov. 21st!
