Calling all RV’ers!

REMINDER: For those RV’ers who still haven’t booked for next season, we will be having our annual Early Bird meeting tomorrow morning at 9am in the ballroom.

This is a great opportunity for first timers to see what Early Bird is all about!

Please join us in congratulating the following ambassadors for winning the ELS – Making a Difference Award on behalf of their respective resident groups. This is awarded to those groups whose tireless efforts benefit the resort and/or local community.

• Rita Smith – for stray cat control in the resort and efforts against animal cruelty
• Karen Whipple – for the SQS and Cancer Hats group who donate hats and other items to cancer patients in need
• Larry Riesselman – for the Computer Lab group for helping to spread education on information technology
• John and Joyce Crose – for the Padeux Social Club who donate proceeds from social events to children and other people in need in the Rio Grande Valley

Each has received $500 for their respective groups to fund future charitable efforts.

Friendly reminder that tomorrow, Feb 15th is the last day to make your same-site reservations for next season! All reservations must be made by end of day OR completed reservation forms must placed in the night drop before we open for business on Thursday the 16th.

We are up to 5 dart boards (10 teams) for Fun Darts on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm! However, Wednesday night darts are cancelled on February 15th & 22nd due to the ballroom not being available. If anyone would like to play during those weeks, there are 3 boards in the Craft Centre (first floor) that are available on Monday Feb 13th & February 20th for play. Please contact me for score sheets.
