Happy Monday all!
Here is an update of the current and upcoming renovation projects in the resort…
Craft Center: This is near completion and a grand re-opening event will be announced soon. We can’t wait for you to see what the finished product looks like!
Small Laundry: This is expected to begin this week. All machines have been removed and renovation including flooring, fresh paint and a new entryway on the hotel side will be installed. Moving forward this will be considered Hotel Guest Laundry
Large Laundry: To commence immediately after the small laundry is completed. Currently, half of the machines are available due to the temporary storage of the small laundry equipment in this space. Renovation to include new flooring and fresh paint.
Ballroom Exits and AC’s: To begin in the next 2 weeks. This is a repair/renovation project that is necessary to address a maintenance issue that was recently found. The emergency exits on the north/east side will have slightly different appearance once complete.
Perimeter Fence: To commence in the next two weeks. This will create a more defined perimeter between the hotel and resort and increase overall security on the north/east side. The first stretch will run from the north gate, along the curb and horseshoe pits, to end at the hotel pool fence line. The second stretch will run from the wood fence by the restaurant, along the curb/parking spaces at the watermill, and end at the south gate.
We are also awaiting approval for another project and if this is approved, we will be happy to announce it soon!

A phone was turned in at the Activities Office. It was found near the gate next to the small laundry room. Activities will ask for a description of the phone to affirm ownership.

Please be advised, we are currently undergoing repair and replacement of all lift stations that service the resort. The four locations where work is being performed are:
Please proceed with caution in these areas while work is being performed. Daily work hours will end no later than 7pm. Barring any install issues, all work is expected to be completed by the end of the day Friday Aug 18th.
We DO NOT expect any interruption of water/sewer service during this time.

Please be advised, we will be shutting down the old cable & internet plant on Friday, Sept 8th. On this date, you will no longer be able to use the old cable and internet system at your site. If you have any home system integrations that require internet connection, such as wifi security, etc, please make sure to open your new account with Spectrum prior to this date.
Please also note, during the course of this installation some of the old lines were cut and Spectrum made some temporary fixes to restore your service – this usually resulted in lines laid above ground to a service pole, across a street or even directly to some homes. Now that the new service connections are available ,Spectrum will be removing those temporary lines over the course of the next couple of weeks. This may result in loss of service for small sections of the resort ahead of our end of service cutoff.

Hello all! It has been great to hear all the positive feedback regarding the Spectrum and Texas Gas projects now that they are online. We are happy that many of you have already started to take advantage of these new services.

Exciting news! All major install work has been completed. We will soon be able to begin our service with Spectrum for cable TV and internet! In the next week or two, Spectrum will be activating the services here in the resort! They will then send out a notice with contact info and, at that time, you will be able to call to open an account and order your service. The resort will also be stuffing your mailbox with a flyer as well. Meeting announcement forthcoming!

There is a currently a group of approximately 16 soldiers who are staying at the hotel. VP and the hotel have negotiated temporary use of the resort pool – for this group of soldiers only – during the duration of the hotel pool renovation. They will be identified by dated wristbands and subject to all of the rules of the resort pool area.
Please report rule violations or unauthorized guests to the hotel at 956-782-3200 or the gate staff at 956-532-5832.
